It is the successor to OpenOffice and contains Writer, Calc, Impress, Draw, Base, Math, and Charts. The Writer app is used to create and edit documents while Calc is the Excel replacement. Impress is a great tool for creating presentations, Draw is used for graphics and diagrams, and Base is a database manager. Math is awesome for editing formulas and Charts is a powerful app used to create charts. All of these apps are great for beginners as well as professionals.
