- If your Mac is connected to multiple cameras, microphones, or output devices, you can choose which one to use for your FaceTime audio and video calls. Open FaceTime for me In the FaceTime app on your Mac, choose one of the following from the Video menu.

- . Webcam Settings support UVC (USB Video Class) webcam only; FireWire camera such as external iSight is not supported. Your USB webcam must be working on your Mac properly (function normally with FaceTime, iChat/Messages, and Skype) before it can be used with Webcam Settings.
- Both Canon and Sony now have a way to connect their cameras to your computer (Canon to PC or Mac, Sony to PC). All you'll need is a USB cable, which should have come in your camera box.
With StreamYard, most of the work happens on our computers, not yours. Your 5-year-oldlaptop, Chromebook, or desktop will all work just fine! But, if you’re serious aboutstreaming (and we hope you are!), we recommend investing in a high quality micand webcam. A pair of headphones is also a good idea – this will reduce the potentialfor echo if you are bringing on guests.

Streaming requires a lot of data, but your current ISP or 4G provider should work fine.We recommend that you hardwire (ethernet) to your router. WiFi will work, butnot as well.
